CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Deadline for abstracts: March 5, 2018
Notifications: March 23, 2018
We are pleased to invite your submissions for oral and poster presentations, to be programmed for April 25, 2018.
There will be one oral presentation session in the morning and one in the afternoon, and the day will conclude with the poster session.
Abstracts may describe:
ABSTRACT FORMAT AND SUBMISSION
Abstracts are limited to 350 words (unstructured), not including title and author details, plus a short description of the relevance of the research to building capacity in systems thinking and methods. Up to one image may accompany the abstract to illustrate key concepts, study design including the incorporation of systems thinking and/or methods, or study findings. Abstracts should be submitted to [email protected] using the downloadable template (fillable PDF form).
REVIEW PROCESS
Abstracts will be reviewed by a committee made up of researchers and trainees from various disciplines. Those deemed scientifically sound and relevant to the workshop objectives will be scheduled as presentations or posters, as appropriate.

- Abstracts are welcome from all members of the University community, including graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty, as well as WICI members who may be external to the University.
- We particularly welcome oral presentation submissions led by students and postdoctoral fellows.

- Ideas in development that would benefit from systems thinking and/or methods.
- Ongoing and completed research projects related to human health and/or environmental sustainability that illustrate the application of systems thinking and/or methods relevant to other complex challenges.
